About me
Passionate about languages and teaching, I am a Spanish teacher for foreigners in Sitges. My professional experience covers various areas of communication, including culture, translation and event organisation
I studied at the Lycée Bel Air from primary school to high school. I was immersed in the French language and culture from a very early age. At the age of 18, I took my French Baccalaureat (ES series) and went on to study Advertising and Public Relations at the University of Barcelona. During the second and third years of my studies, I entered the professional world through various internships at the advertising agency Tiempo BBDO.
In 2017, after finishing my degree, I worked in the production and organisation of events in Sitges, Barcelona, Malaga and Montevideo: Festival Internacional de Cinema Fantàstic de Catalunya, Mobile World Congress, Master Senior Cup, Uruguay Open, among others.
Today, having completed the ELE (Spanish as a Foreign Language) course, I work as a Spanish teacher for foreigners in Sitges, a natural step after many professional and personal experiences related to multiculturalism, languages and communication.
After two years in the world of events, I took my first steps in the cultural sector as a tour guide in French at the Teatre Liceu and the Palau Güell.
In 2020 I took a course in translation from French into Spanish at the European University of Madrid (UEM), and since then I have worked on projects as a translator and audiovisual translator.
In 2021 I will be a tour guide for the museums of Sitges, so I will be able to explain everything I know about the culture and history of Sitges. In addition to teaching in Sitges, I volunteer at the Red Cross (Vilanova i la Geltrú) and the Bayt Foundation (Barcelona), where I teach Spanish to migrants and refugees.
